A quiet start to the week as the U.S is closed for Labor Day and no earnings reports of interest, apart from Morrisons in the UK, who will report its first-half earnings, ahead of its takeover.

The event that will grab traders attention will likely be the ECB meeting, where we expect no changes, but perhaps some interesting hints about their future easing plans. We will have a rate decision in Australia, where we expect no change to the rate of 0.1%, and China will be in focus with their data releases, including Chinese export, which is expected to rise by 11% year over year and CPI, with prices expected to climb 0.9% year over year and 0.2% month over month.
